  • Nothing! There is absolutely no charge for you to create an account on SureJob.ca, Creating an account is free and open to anyone.
  • If you can't remember your SureJob password, you can trigger a password request to retrieve it from login button.
  • You can register for SureJob account. Signing up is completely free. The more detailed the information you provide, the more likely we are to match you up with relevant job opportunities.

About SureJob

  • The best way to find the SureJob branch closest to you is input your postal code in our location finder, though you can also search by city.
  • SureJob has thousands of jobs posted at any given time. New jobs are always opening, so the best way to tell if we have any current job listings in your industry is to do a job search. You can filter jobs based on industry, location and job title.
  • We welcome your thoughts. If you have feedback for SureJob, please feel free to fill out our contact form.
  • Yes. We have existing relationships with several college and university programs across Canada. Ask your program coordinator if SureJob is an internship partner at your school.
  • You can use our contact form for quick questions, but we recommend finding a branch near you and calling directly.

Temporary Jobs

  • Not at all. In fact, temporary job assignments are becoming more popular in Canada. They are an ideal way to gain experience at different organizations and learn new skills. Accepting temporary work also demonstrates that you are determined to seize new opportunities. Some job seekers also find that temporary work assignments allow them to experience a diverse range of workplaces, ensuring they're never bored.
  • Temporary assignments will vary depending on the employer and the role. A temporary assignment can last as little as one day and be as long as 18 months. Common lengths for temp work assignments include 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12 months, though there's plenty of temp jobs that don't fit into any of these.

  • Absolutely. Though we can't write your resume for you, we can help you fine-tune it. First and foremost we recommend reading the numerous resources available to you on our job tips blog. There's lots of helpful advice from industry insiders on resume writing.   • Your recruitment consultant is paid by the companies that use SureJob to find talent. As a job seeker, you'll never pay for using SureJob to find a job.
  • Not at all. Your SureJob consultant wants you to take a job that is in line with your capabilities, your experience, and your aspirations. We do not want you to accept a position that does not meet your expectations.  If you do not think you will be able to finish an assignment, or if you are simply not interested in the job proposed by your consultant, we encourage you to explain to the consultant why the job is not the right fit. Our goal is to find you a job that excites you, that you're passionate about!
  • Yes. To apply to jobs on SureJob, you'll need to have a resume ready. We accept a variety of file formats including word documents and PDFs. You can also upload your resume from a third party site like Dropbox or Google Drive. If you need help creating your resume, we recommend reading our job tips blog for resume writing advice.

  • The best way to apply for jobs on SureJob is to create an account. When signed in, simply click the apply now button on any job you're interested in. Some job postings may also have direct contact information for the recruiters involved, if you prefer to call directly.
  • To book an appointment with a recruiter, you can call the SureJob branch closest to you directly, or fill out our contact form.
  • Due to the large volume of applications SureJob receives, it is not always possible to inform candidates when they were not selected for an interview. Rest assured that if you were chosen to be interviewed, a SureJob consultant will be in touch with you shortly. If there is a particular type of role you are interested in, we recommend you book a consultation with a recruiter, so they can help you find jobs that interest you and match your skills and qualifications.
  • Your SureJob consultant will present you with opportunities that match your skills and experience. If you're interested in one of the roles suggested to you, your consultant will present you to their client to be interviewed. If the client feels that you're the right fit for their company following their interview process, your SureJob consultant will help you negotiate your job offer and the terms of your placement, to ensure a fair process on both sides.
  • SureJob takes measures to ensure that all our employees, including temp, part-time and contract employees, are paid fairly and have access to resources and information that will enhance their work experience with us. Unlike many other staffing agencies, SureJob temp employees also qualify for health and dental coverage through our group insurance plan.
  • Absolutely. Our relationship with you doesn't end once you've found a job. Your SureJob consultant will check in with you shortly after your placement begins. If you have any questions or concerns about your placement or need additional job advice, you can always feel free to reach out to your consultant.
